Watch as this baby deer narrowly escapes being eaten by a lion as it jumps into the water at the National Zoo. I’m pretty sure it got distracted by that screaming lady.

Hacked Roombas Used to Play Pac-Man

It was inevitable, and here it is – Roomba Pac-Man!
The system works by allowing users to view a map of the game board on a PC while controlling the PacMan character. Users are then chased by Roomba ghosts, get caught and just like the original game all of the pieces are reset. Eat a pellet and the interface turns all the ghosts blue and you can go on the attack.
So there we have it, pacman will eat ghosts whilst cleaning your floor at the same time. Everyone’s a winner!

Created by Rob Matthews, the ever popular online encyclopedia has been put into book form. It’s 5,000 pages long and 1ft 7ins thick.
So, If you don’t have the internet and you’re a student, this is a must have. It also makes you realize the power of the internet to store masses of information in nothingness. Wonderful!

A British couple have become the oldest couple in the world to divorce, aged 98.
Bertie and Jessie Wood, who got married in 1972, filed for divorce 36 years later, just 2 years short of their 100th birthdays.
Their relationship faltered in 2008, when they were both aged 97, and a decree absolute is believed to have been granted subsequently.
According to neighbours of the former couple, Mrs Wood now lives in a care home. Unfortunately, Mr Wood, however, died shortly before he turned 99.

The world’s smallest mother is about to give birth for the third time, despite warnings she is risking her life.
Stacey Herald who is just 2ft 4ins tall, from Dry Ridge, Kentucky, has already defied doctors to have two healthy babies, and her third is due in the next four weeks.

The couple met in 2000 while working for a supermarket in their home town and were desperate for a family after marrying in 2004.
But doctors warned Mrs Herald a baby would grow so large inside her tiny body it would eventually crush her organs.Eight months later, the couple were thrilled when they discovered Mrs Herald was pregnant and decided to go ahead even though family and doctors begged them to reconsider.

Brilliant and seemingly glowing, the bloodybelly comb jelly comes in different shades of red but always has a blood-red stomach. The sparkling display on the outside comes from light diffracting from tiny transparent, hair-like cilia. These beat continuously, propelling the jelly through the water. In the deep sea, the jelly is nearly invisible; animals that are red appear black and blend into the dark background.
For me, it’s intimidating, but hypnotic at the same time. I almost want to put it on the top of the christmas tree.

Disney have become concerned that Mickey Mouse has become too much of a corporate symbol, and so they’ve decided to give a makeover.
It’s a massive risk for Disney, but one they hope will pay off in the long term. We’ll first get a glimpse of the new Mickey next year in a new video game, Epic Mickey, in which the formerly squeaky clean character can be cantankerous and cunning, as well as heroic, as he traverses a forbidding wasteland.

Times are hard, but there is potential for making money right under your nose – in your trash can!
Clare Graham creates his art forms by re-energising discarded materials, transforming simple objects, such as bottle tops or tin cans into objects of wonder, aiding our perspective to be shifted from their once lowly state. Clare really is testament to the belief that ‘one man’s trash is another man’s treasure’.
Graham’s art takes various forms, including such stunning pieces as chandeliers and contemporary furniture, and you can do it too! Okay, we may not be as skilled as Clare, but we can make a difference, not only to the environment, but to our pockets by seeing potential in garbage.

The face of the Beatles’ drummer, Ringo Starr, has been seen in a droplet of water bouncing on a lotus leaf.
Oh, and in case you were wondering, this is scientific evidence – it was discovered by a group of researchers from Duke University in North Carolina, who were taking high-speed images, showing water drops bouncing on the surface of a leaf.
No arguments there then.

Mary Strey is a very honest woman … or maybe just an extremely drunk one. She called police in Clark County, Wisconsin to let them know that she was driving whilst intoxicated.

The dispatcher asked if Strey was behind the drunk driver, to which she replied “No, I am them.”
The dispatcher asked, “Okay, so you’re calling to report you’re driving drunk?”
“Yes,” Strey said.
The dispatcher told Strey to pull her vehicle over, and she complied. She waited for a deputy to arrive with her hazard lights flashing. According to the police report, Strey failed field sobriety tests, and a preliminary breath test showed she had a blood alcohol content of .19, more than twice the legal limit to drive.
She’s due in court in December, facing charges of first offense operating under the influence.

This is an actual receipt from Nello’s in New York City, where Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich, spent $47,000 on food and drinks for himself and five other people. That’s about how much he earns in one whole minute. I’d have liked to see the tip on that!

The fastest man in the world, Usain Bolt, who holds the 100m and 200m sprint world records, has adopted a baby cheetah named Lightning Bolt.
Bolt won’t keep the cheetah as a regular pet though, he’s paid $13,700 to formally adopt the cub, and $3,000 a year for Lighting Bolt to be cared for and raised at an animal orphanage in Nairobi.

He nearly ran away when asked Monday to pet a fully grown cheetah named Sharon for a photo shoot with Kenyan Prime Minister Raila Odinga. Bolt had Zeitz stand in for him, until he saw that Sharon seemed harmless.The world record holder appeared more comfortable later while handling his baby cheetah, which was the size of a fully grown domestic cat. He cradled the fuzzy-headed cub while feeding it bottled milk as cameramen snapped away.
When asked if he was afraid of cheetahs, Bolt said: “Yes, I was, but not anymore.”
Lighting Bolt is among three cubs rescued by KWS officials after their mother abandoned them in a game park.
Fork Lift Accident Brings Down The Whole Warehouse

This careless Russian fork-lift driver wasn’t paying attention when he crashed his vehicle and brought the whole warehouse down. The boxes were carrying glass bottles of vodka and cognac, which ended up costing the owners around $100,000. As for the driver – he was lucky, escaping with just minor injuries to his legs.
It’s like the end of a game of Jenga, isn’t it? Just bigger and with more alcohol.

One of the thing’s that annoy’s a lot of people, is incorrect use of apostrophe’s. For some reason, it just gets’ under your skin and peal’s away at your brain, like no other grammatical error?
