New Fan Technology By Dyson Is Awesome

The Dyson Air Multiplier fan works very differently to conventional fans. It uses new technology to draw in air and amplify it 15 times. With no blades or grille, it’s safe, easy to clean and doesn’t cause unpleasant buffeting.

Dyson explain the technology as ‘air being accelerated through an annular aperture and over a 16° airfoil-shaped ramp, generating an uninterrupted stream of smooth air. Huh? This video fully explains how the technology works so we can all understand it.

Barbie Dolls to Get Slimmer Legs and Ankles

Three new Barbie dolls being designed by French shoe designer Christian Louboutin to celebrate the doll’s 50th anniversary will have slimmer legs and ankles after he decided they were “too fat”.

Mr Louboutin, whose luxury shoes retail for up to £1,500, thinks the model has ‘cankles’, (fat ankles), and so he’s going to make them thinner.

Isn’t this sending the wrong message out to young girls? I mean, Barbie is no stranger to controversy, as are many celebrities and models, but Barbie is often perceived as being the ‘perfect’ woman. A toy that children will see every day and will aspire to be like. Making Barbie even thinner will surely inspire our youth to do the same, or am I overreacting? Terrifying Sniper Prank on Japanese TV

This is incredibly harsh, but at the same time you can’t help but laugh.

A Japanese hidden camera show called ‘Panic Face King’ goes extreme on this poor guy, luring him into a fake meeting in which everyone is killed by a sniper except for him. He is definitely the panic face king.

The massive growth of Twitter has opened up a whole new advertising platform for businesses and individuals all around the world. The degree to which Twitter can be a successful advertising platform, however, depends on how many followers you have, your reputation amongst your followers and how focussed your follower group is.

With the recent news that Drew Carey will donate $1 million to Livestrong if his account @drewfromtv reaches 1 million followers by the end of the year, it got me thinking, how much is my Twitter account worth?
