By October, the International Olympic Committee will name the host city for the 2016 Summer Olympic Games. The finalists are Chicago, Madrid, Rio, and Tokyo, who have all submitted their prospective logos, but which logo do you think is best?

It’s a toss up between Madrid and Tokyo. Both logos use the Olympic colors, plus they reflect the culture of the cities. Chicago is just corporate boring, typical mid-west city graphics. Yawn. Rio is all over the place and hard to read clearly. I just don’t get a big, “Wow! That says RIO!” from it.
(I’m a designer, BTW.)
Hey! It’s great to have a designer’s opinion on the logos. I really like the Madrid and Tokyo logos too. Bold, and as you aid it uses the Olympic colors which is pretty important in my eyes.
Thanks for visiting :)
I like Tokyo’s — very flowing. The others seem awkward to me.
Yeh, you’re right Donna it is. A really cool design and it uses the Olympic colors, which is a bonus!
