Lonesome George To Become A Father..Hopefully

Lonesome George, officially the rarest living creature on the planet, may be about to become a father for the first time at the grand old age of 94.

George is the sole remaining example of the Galápagos Pinta Tortoise and despite the company of two female Espanola Tortoise, he has failed to reproduce. However, scientists in the Galapagos Islands have noticed five Espanola eggs and it is hoped that three with hatch.
Let’s not get our hopes up too much though, as last year over a dozen eggs were laid but all sadly turned out the be infertile.
We’ll keep you up to date on this story. Let’s hope it all turns out well for George.

A leading scientist has claimed that a detailed, functional human brain can be created within the next 10 years.
Mark Markram, who has already simulated parts of a rat brain says that an artificial brain would be of particular use to people with mental illnesses.
With around two billion people thought to be suffering with some kind of brain impairment, this medical breakthrough would help the masses. Let’s hope it’s a success.

One Chinese company have designed a hamburger flash memory drive. Yes, that’s right, in order to make us buy more USB sticks, they thought it would be a good idea to shape them as heart-attack sticks.

Just to make things worse, their advertising campaign shows a girl trying to eat one of the hamburger USB drives. Just incase we didn’t realize that hamburgers were for eating. But why photoshop a USB socket onto her mouth?! What’s up with that?
It’s not all bad though, there’s a healthier option of a watermelon and strawberry USB for you health conscious people out there.

The invisible man may sound like a super hero from a comic book, but Liu Bolin is no fictional character. He is a a real-life invisible man.

No matter how complicated his surrounding are, Liu is able to transform to make himself invisible.
The artist has blended into red phone boxes, graffiti walls, earthquake rubble and more. That’s very clever!
