Motorcycle Sidecar or Car Sidemotorcycle?

The result of 10 years work and 15000 Euros is this – the Snaefell.
“What is it?” I hear you ask. Well it’s a rather flash looking sidecar made from a Laverda motorcycle. With a 1000cc triple engine, 3 exhausts, stylish interior and excellent attention to detail, it really is a work of art.
All this was hand made by an amateur. Well done my friend.

Struggling to think what present to get your 7 year old daughter or want to find a special Christmas gift for your angelic pre-school niece? How about a nice plush cuddly Disney toy? Or may be pair of ballet shoes? Better still, why not purchase something from the Hello Kitty range? You can’t go wrong with that. Can you? Well, check out the latest technological gadget from the cartoon cat with a girlie image?
It looks a little like a hairdryer but you wouldn’t want be staring down the wrong end of this beauty. This creation is a custom version of the Taser C2, packed with 50,000 volts of sense-depriving electricity and a range of 15 feet. Now what idiot came up with this idea? Who in their right mind is going to buy a pink taser? Normal people will not buy these for their friends and family and hardened criminals and street gangs will surely be put off by the pink casing.
Is this a case of inappropriate branding? What next? The Rugrats revolver? Disney knuckle-dusters? Barney thumb screws?

It seems nowadays, everyone is tweeting their every move. Well how about this – Buckingham Palace has set up it’s very own Twitter account.

After several weeks of testing, @BritishMonarchy has gone live. A spokeswoman said that the Royal Family wanted to utilize the popularity of Twitter to spread information about royal engagements as well as what members of the family are doing.
One of the three people @BritishMonarchy is currently following is Andy Murray – most recently a semi-finalist at Wimbledon.
The Queen and the Prince of Wales have been informed about the Twitter account, however it’s a shame that the Royal Family will not be personally tweeting, although one must not complain.

A group of galaxies, collectively know as Stephan’s Quintet recently collided creating a wonderful spectacle for astronomers.

The bright spiral galaxy was moving at two million miles per hour as it passed through the core of galaxies, which created the curved X-rays which are the light blue parts in the picture.
This image provides a rare glimpse of a galaxy group in the process of evolving and developing. It also helps astronomers understand the origins of the hot, X-ray bright halos of gas in groups of galaxies.
Don’t worry though, all this action took place 280 million light years from earth. Phew!

Burger King has been forced to apologize to Hindus after it showed an Indian goddess with a “forbidden” Whopper Burger.
The advert had a picture of Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth, about to eat a beef burger, stating “The snack is sacred.”

The company withdrew it’s adverts from it’s outlets in Spain after Hindus complained that it was a disgrace to their religion and issued an apology after Hindu leaders condemned the posters.
“We are apologising because it wasn’t our intent to offend anyone,” said spokesperson Denise T Wilson. “Burger King Corporation values and respects all of its guests as well as the communities we serve. This in-store advertisement was running to support only a local promotion for three restaurants in Spain and was not intended to offend anyone.
“Out of respect for the Hindu community, the limited-time advertisement has been removed from the restaurants,” she added.
This isn’t the first time Burger King has offended sections of society however. Earlier this year, the fast food chain offended Mexican officials with an advert for the “Texican Whopper” showing a dwarf dressed as a wrestler draped in the Mexican flag.
This has certainly brought a lot of attention to the company. Do you think that the Hindu advert was a genuine mistake or was it a Burger King publicity stunt? You Decide.
